In acquiring the locally established distributor, Codima Inc. consolidates its presence in the Japanese market. The acquisition is scheduled to close by the end of September 2008. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. G-major Japan Ltd. in Tokyo is a vertical market distributor, specializing in VoIP network management software that targets large enterprises and system integrators. The company’s operation includes a technical support section offering first line support in Japanese. G-major Japan Ltd. employees bilingual sales executives and is run by a Japanese management team with experience from blue chip corporations, like Compaq and Sun.
