 What is the time based pattern for terminated calls (incoming and outgoing) for phones in the Phone Groups?
 What is the time based pattern for the duration of the calls made by the phones in the Phone Groups
 

- Bottleneck analysis questions - Reports Manager uses information gathered by the Bottleneck Analysis Tool

 Where and when do I have Port Bottlenecks/Hot Spots on my network?

1. To answer all of the Questions listed, you will need the Codima All in One Toolbox.

Background Information :-

 

What is the Reports Manager?

 

The Reports Manager is included in all the Codima Toolboxes, it provides a centralized reporting system with a common interface for all the Toolbox statistics reports. Provides a range of pre defined scheduled Word reports and a facility to output report pages to HTML.

 

The range of statistic reports available is toolbox specific. The Codima All in One Toolbox has over 90 pre defined statistics reports.

What format are statistics reports provided in?

Schedule Statistics Reports are provided as Word documents. You can also produce HTML Reports for user defined time periods, e.g., a report for a specific day, a week or 4 week report starting on a user specified date.

Can I schedule statistics reports?

Yes, word reports can be scheduled, daily, weekly and 4 weekly.

Can I provide statistics reports for past time periods?

Yes, there are two methods

  1. You can use the normal method to create an HTML Report page - you just select a date in the past prior to clicking on the button used to create HTML reports.
  2. You can manually select to schedule a day report for a past time period

You will need to have History database files that contain the relevant information, i.e., go back as far as the past date chosen for the report, see Help entry titled:-

 

Which tools in the Codima Toolbox integrate with the Reports Manager tool?

The Reports Manager is integrated with all the tools in the Codima toolbox that undertake statistical analysis.  Below is a list of these tools and the Reports Manager tab they make use of :-

Where does the Reports Manager get the statistical information used in the Reports?

The information in taken from a series of History databases, which contain statistics obtained using both passive and active analysis (subject to the information required).

 

Can I select what goes into a Report prior to its creation? - Report filtering.

Yes - Filters can be applied prior to the generation of the word report, for example you can set a filter to include:-

  • Specific devices only
  • Specific device types only
  • Specific Protocol groups only

What documents are available to tell me more about the Reports Manager?

The following documents can be supplied by Codima Support or a Codima Partner on request.

  • Reports Manager - Applications : Lists some of the questions that can be answered using the Reports Manager tool shows the Report pages that provide the answers.
  • Reports Manager - List of Reports : Over 90 different report templates can be provided with the Reports Manager tool, this document lists the reports provided by function. The Report selection is subject to the Toolbox type.
  • Reports Manager - Example Reports : Provides example Word Reports and example HTML Reports.

Example reports can be provided by Codima or a Codima Partner on request.
