What are the Benefits of using the Reports Manager tool?

The key benefit is it that this tool provides you with evidence at your finger tips. Producing a wide range of Reports that can be used to show both network trends and isolate problems. The range of reports available is toolbox specific, for example reports covering VoIP trend patterns will only be available to users who have either the Codima Toolbox All in One or the VoIP Monitoring and Troubleshooting Toolbox.

Here are some example of the type of reports and the questions the reports can be used to answer. These reports can be automatically produced or produced on demand for selected time periods.

Where and when do I have Port Bottlenecks/Hot Spots on my network?
When and where do I have Device bottlenecks/Hot Spots on my network?
Which ports are experiencing Collisions? – indicators of duplex problems and port overload
Which ports are receiving frames with Bad Frame Check Sequences (FCS)? – indicators of connector/cabling problems

Which devices are failing to respond to Pingers?
When are they failing to respond?
